Our Riding

The federal electoral district of Lac St. Louis was formed in 1996 and first contested in 1997. The district includes the Cities of Beaconsfield, and Pointe-Claire; the Towns of Baie-d'UrféKirkland and Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue; the Municipality of Senneville; and the western part of the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro of the city of Montreal.

In the 2015 election, there were over 85,000 eligible voters and a 75% turnout. The election was won by Liberal Francis Scarpallegia in a landslide. The 2011 election was much closer. The Conservative candidate, Larry Smith, came within 3000 votes of winning.

We believe that the People's Party of Canada has a realistic chance of winning the riding in 2019. We are the only party that adheres to the principles of small "c" conservatism.
